NO2O FESTIVAL Announces 2015 Season!
New Orleans to Orleans (NO2O)
There are so many people, businesses, and organizations involved in this exciting event, you’ll have to forgive me if I can’t name them all. The festivities begin Saturday, April 4th, 7:00PM at the Nauset Regional Middle School with a performance by the Cape Conservatory Jazz Ensemble.
The excitement continues with the Festival Stroll on Friday, May 1, 4:30-6PM. Musicians will be performing in many Orleans businesses. For a full listing of stroll participants go to www.itsallinorleans.org. Businesses will display a life-sized cut out of a sax player to let you know they’re participating. Join us, stroll through Orleans, visit Jozy Fine Art, and enjoy the music!
Hopefully, the stroll will whet your appetite for a concert the following night, Saturday, May 2nd, 7PM at Nauset Regional Middle School. Listen to Paul Sanchez, award-winning Tremé (neighborhood in New Orleans) music roots performer and songwriter.
To close out the summer, Evan Christopher and Friends will perform at the Middle School on Saturday, September 12th, 7PM. Evan is a well-known clarinetist and composer based in New Orleans.
For complete information about NO2O visit the NO2O website.
Our First Show of the 2015 Season!
Karen North Wells: After the Fall
Cape Cod artist Karen North Wells has recovered nicely from her 2014 fall that broke both her wrists. Many Jozy Fine Art patrons were able to view her work at our “Before the Fall” show last season, and I’m so proud to host a reception showing her newest work on Saturday, May 23, 2015, 5-7pm. Karen’s work will be shown for several weeks surrounding this reception.
Jozy’s Full 2015 Season Announced
I was stuck at my computer throughout most of late January, February, and early March. Gave me time to book the shows for the 2015 season. I’m very excited about the work I’ll be presenting starting with Karen North Wells’ newest oils and acrylics.
On Saturday, June 27th, 5-7pm, I’ll show L. Robert Jasper’s fine art photography from his 2014 photo shoot in Portugal. I was lucky enough to accompany him on that trip, and I’m delighted to remember beautiful Portugal through his remarkable photography. Jasper’s work can be seen in the week before and after his reception.
Jayne Capps will travel from Oklahoma to Orleans to present her latest hand-crafted jewelry at a reception July 11th, 5-7pm. Her work has been very popular at the gallery, and I am looking forward to seeing her new designs. Denya LeVine, world music fiddler and vocalist, will join us for the evening. She appeared at Jozy last season and was a huge hit!
Internationally collected artist Lynn Shaler will travel a bit farther. She’s coming from Paris to the Cape for an artist’s reception on Saturday, August 8th, 5-7pm, and will follow on Sunday August 9th, 2-3pm with a discussion of her fine, limited edition etchings. Lynn’s exquisite work is shown in the Shaler Room throughout the season.
The Cape Cod season is in full swing in August. On Saturday, August 22nd, 5-7pm, New England artist Iva Liebert will present her latest work at a bubbling reception “Art, Music, and Champagne.” Denya LeVine will provide the music making this event one that no one should miss.
The Labor Day weekend show marks the close of the traditional Cape Cod season with fine art photography by Lou Clark and L. Robert Jasper. Both will attend the show to visit with patrons and collectors and discuss their work from a river cruise on the Danube, Main, and Rhine. Join us for wine, cheese, and conversation Saturday, September 5th, 5-7pm.
We’ll celebrate Cape Cod’s second season Columbus Day weekend with a very special reception featuring small works by all the fine artists represented by Jozy Fine Art. This show offers a great opportunity to start holiday shopping early and enjoy refreshments on Saturday, October 10th, 5-7pm.
Snow is Finally Melting on Rotary (Roundabout) Construction
Construction continues at the intersection of Routes 6A, 28, and Canal Road. I’m holding out hope that by the time the gallery opens April 29th, access to Jozy Fine Art at Boardwalk Commons will be easier than ever before.

About the Gallery
I am a long time collector of art from both new artists and the well known. My vision for Jozy Fine Art is a gallery that will present work from artists long collected while providing a venue for new talent struggling for attention. I like themes, so we’ll use some of my favorites to feature oils and acrylics, aquatint etching, fine art photography, and handcrafted jewelry. The gallery space is open and comfortable – meant to welcome all visitors… Jozy
